I started crying omg this is so beautiful... also he looks like Derek in a way I think. This really made me cry I love this movie so much and just revisited it yesterday and am reliving my childhood. I’m only fifteen and was born ten years after the release but I somehow found the movie and fell in love with it as a kid, and none of my friends knew the movie so they thought it was weird. But, as I’m searching through things, I’m realizing that I was just a decade late to the party, but I’m at least still at the party. Everyone is reliving their childhood with this movie nowadays and I’m so happy I’m able to be a part of this amazing fan base built off of happiness and magic.

Howard McGillian will always be the best Prince Derek and the original voice actress for Odette in my book! :) It’s not the same in the other crappy sequels where he got replaced by a different voice actor for Derek every single time they make a new one, along with Odette, who gets replaced every time since her original voice actress died. :( I wonder why they couldn’t get him back in the other two where Princess Odette’s original voice actress voiced her in the two sequels after the original? Or even better, why couldn’t they get him to reprise his role as Derek in the newer crappy CGI sequels?
