A deep dark forest green as a feature wall on the same side as your desk would look amazing! You could get wooden frames of different sizes and arrange them on the wall too with old botanical or animal scientific drawings. I feel like that would compliment the look you are going for ☺️

I love the way your apartment is so.. unique. Like i feel like with many homes, many of the things you can find is mass produced. Your apartment has pots and thrifted furniture that makes it special. You bond everything together in a way that makes it seem so organized and with your plants, it feels so expressive. I love your apartment and hope that you can continue to make this incredible work. Also what kind of grow lights do you use on your shelves in your office?

Hey Benji! Loved the video. When you were describing the vibe of the office, it made me think of the term "Solarpunk," which is like Steampunk or Cyberpunk, but is more about embracing nature with the use of industry vs. just industry. Could be a source of inspo for the space!

One idea for the floor is peel and stick floor tiles! It would be really easy to keep clean but could add some visual interest and cover up the floor that you don't like, plus the dimensions could be super personalized. I know Caroline Winkler here on youtube has a brand she really loves from Etsy that she used in her most recent kitchen diy!

I love the new space! I have similar style to you. I like industrial metal shelves mixed with natural wood tones from the boards I use on each shelf and of corse the greens and different textures of the plants. I think you called it “home plant lab” style sounds exactly what it looks like.

When I think of "Vintage Industrial Garage" the color that comes to mind is a pale green that was a common shop/farmer clothing color. The colors I found of the Behr website that look similar are called Shanghai Jade, Folk Tale, and Enchanted Meadow. Your transformations have been so fun to watch! Also Chris's singing was so lovely

Have you tried having the table float in the room instead of against the wall? It might take away the open floor space ( eliminate the need for a rug) and be practical as you can work from all sides

You should consider a Rugable. We have one in our covered patio and leave it out year round. It’s done wonderfully and you can wash it if needed.

For the floor area in your office that you want to work on the plants on, you can try to get a huge office chair mat on Amazon. That way once it gets worn out you can replace it and it also protects your floor.

Very helpful video, I too have a plant studio and it could really use some organization. One the best items Ive purchased was a small shop vac recently to clean up loose soil that always seems to get sprinkled around. I find clean up is necessary after every time I work in there. Looking forward to your next video!

I think an outdoor rug would be perfect in that room. Something with a little pop of color. Your asthetic is more of muted earth tones, so for that room, I think you should be a little more adventurous with color. With as much light as you receive you can pick almost any color. It must compliment that bright white color. Only 1-2 walls should be painted. I say a green grey color - Breezeway would fit PERFECTLY

Some thoughts on a carpet for this space: in old workshops, they wouldn't have carpets, right, because it isn't convenient for a messy space. So, if you're going for workshop vibes, it might be better to leave the floor uncovered. Or to choose a rug that doesn't look like your standard rug, as if it's made from stone or wood? Maybe the RODELUND outdoor carpet from Ikea?

Yeah, I think pretty much the same. Having a rug or floor covering is not super practical, but I feel like the room needs it. Definitely not a conventional cotton or wool rug, though. I really like your recommendation from IKEA, thank you!
