Oh wow: finally! Skids got his own channel, couldn’t believe my luck. AND his first project is one of my favourite ‘bucket list’ bikes; the gorgeous looking CD Benly! I’m strapping in for a binge watch. Old fellas, scratching around in the workshop just like me, fantashteesh! 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️🤓

You are right about the Esso fuel. The Esso UK website, in their FAQs, says "Esso Synergy Supreme+ 99 contains zero ethanol, except (for logistics reasons) sites supplied from Scotland, North Wales, North England and Cornwall."

Esso it is then.

Hi Skid. When i look at specials i alway look at number plates. If the screw slots are inline, either horizontal or verical dont matter but if they sort the little details you know the big ones are sorted.

Unfortunately Esso has ethanol up here in the north of England. Enjoying this series greatly :-)

Well, definitely so far so good! If the clutch and gearbox work you could probably triple your money now!

Don’t forget the small hole in the bottom of the chaincase. If it blocks, any water getting in can’t get out.
@guywillison74472 жыл бұрын
Hi Christopher, thanks for the heads up, I’ll check the drain hole next time I’m in the workshop.

Esso E5 as you say Guy, is ethanol free depending on which supply depot it comes from and 5% ethanol from the others

I have recently bought my first cd200t same color. Cracking little bike and not to expensive. My only little worry is the bottom end bearings are sounding a little grumbly

The chap who owned this bike must have worked for Colin Chapman ,he didn't like washers they were taking a free ride 😉
@guywillison74472 жыл бұрын
Colin Chapman was cutting-edge where ever gram counted. The Benly is more sedate. 😂
