Ben throw the flooring away they most likely have mold/raw sewage on them now or end up with mold. Your hotel guest can sue you if they end up with a mold exposure in your hotel. NOT worth it. Flooring is cheap in the big picture!! Lok up "Detox mold from the body' = major sickness.

Learned the hard way after Ian. Once that surge water hits the floor, it ruins it. Tile is fine. Hardwood might need sanding. Linoleum and carpet is trashed. Foam backed hardwood is trashed. Same with cabinets. Rip it out cause it’ll never dry under/beneath them.

Treasure Island and Johns Pass are so close to my heart cause my grandparents lived in Pinellas Park and we always would go to Johns pass and walk around. There use to be a seafood restaurant across the water from Johns pass and we use to go there all the time in the 80's & 90's for special event Dinners.. I miss that place so much.. and Treasure island there was a Cuban restaurant that had the best food.. Not sure if it's still there but I need to come back and I'll make sure to stay in one of your hotels!!! Love you video's and love your family!!! Keep up the great work!!

In a flood zone your 1st floor should always be tile flooring. Hose down and squeegee out the sand and muck. That way you only need to replace the drywall on the 1st floor and not the flooring.
