Hi Graham and Wendy, really enjoyed the look out, there were some lovely views. Me and John used to like going for walks, he can't walk far now. I used to have a Rottveiler about twenty years ago and i used to walk miles with him, i still miss him, when we had to get him put to sleep because his back end went and he could hardly walk, he was thirteen which was good for the breed we decided not to get any more dogs. He was my fourth dog. We were getting older and with working full time, i used to take him out for a walk at five in the morning before i started work, plus vets fees

Hi Sandra, I have always enjoyed a walk and a dog is a good companion. It can be so hard when you loose them that I don’t want anymore pets. It also makes you realise your own vulnerability on this world. The walk along the iron giant was lovely, canals and rivers are always full of wildlife and flowers this time of year. I don’t walk so well now as I have a bad knee, that’s bad news really with all the food we cook and eat. It’s probably all those cakes 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤️🥰😘👍

Hi Graham and Wendy, it's no fun getting older, i can walk ok, the only problem i have is with my right foot, i get really bad pains in my toes and can hardly walk with it but i never know when it will come in and John can't walk far at all, I got him a motorised wheelchair from Amazon which is really good but he doesn't use it much. I think we are stuck in a rut where we don't want to go out. It must have taken some till on your knees that long walk. I know what you mean about cakes, at one point I was making a cake every week but I was putting too much weight on, John shouldn't eat them being a diabetic but he never put weight on probably because he doesn't eat much. I know we should eat more healthier, for tea we are having birds eye frozen chicken pie and chips cos it was something quick. Tomorrow I've got John some smoked haddock which he'll have with some mash and frozen peas, i'll have sea bass as i don't like smoked fish which is a bit more healthier. Is Wendy ok with walking

@@SandraDent-lf4xy hi Sandra, we are both fine really. I think it’s arthritis in my knee, it swells in the cold so I’ve been better the last couple of months.it’s hard to eat healthily and more expensive. We eat well, better than it sometimes seems on KZbin. The fish you bought will be lovely 🥰😘👍

Hi Graham and Wendy. We enjoyed that.We were walking on the canal today a few hundred yards from the viaduct. It's a great bike ride from Langley Mill to Trent Lock - 11 miles each way but its all flat except for the locks! Plenty of good walking / cycling paths locally. Just one thing mate.... with all that heavy breathing on the steps I did think for a moment that something saucey was going on...🤓. That's the canal I would like to canoe on.Plenty of narrow boats use it.

Hi Hayden, it would have been lovely to have seen you there. Unless you didn’t stop me because we don’t know what you look like 🤷‍♂️ 11 miles each way might be a bit far in a canoe but I could try the bike. The heavy breathings is just age and hay fever mate, nothing exciting 😂😂😂👍

Oh my goodness Graham and Wendy, what a walk and all those stairs to, my hip and knee pain come out in sympathy in having to watch you climb them. The views were fantastic though, very peaceful indeed, I don't know how you manage it all, I wish I still could, I used to love walking years ago. You get to see so much more going by foot, so thanks for taking us out with you both 💯💕👍💐🤚

Hi Ross, it’s lovely to be able to walk over the viaduct and canals in countryside are always lovely. I would like to get my bicycle over there and keep turning left like the two blokes we spoke to on the viaduct. Thanks for the comment Ross 👏👏👍
