I received my Trim tabs and tried to install them but I can’t get the straight line to have de 3 screws triangle shox deck flat on the boat and align with the fixing plate , why ???

As the tab is flat with the bottom of boat take a ruler or level and run on bottom of boat to the tab then mark you triangle dots on transom but doing so keep the tab level with bottom of boat 🚤
