Vintage railroad film - This is my railroad - 1954

This vintage railroad film, produced for the Southern Pacific railroad in 1954, is an educational documentary film explaining exactly how the Southern Pacific moved passenger and freight trains efficiently. Emphasised throughout this film are the efforts of the men and women who made up the SP's excellent work force.

And if it weren't for the yanks and their railroads, you wouldn't have a country. Have the memories of WWII faded so quickly? Or maybe you *like* the idea of German as a national language? The '50's and 60's were a fearful, jingoistic time everywhere, even in the UK.
