GENUINELY feel this from the bottom of my soul. bennie and the jets only comes on the radio specifically when im either dissociating or having a panic attack. theres no ifs ands or buts. its like the song that plays when i die and respawn like the character natasha lyonne plays in Russian Doll

This song was his way of letting us know who kidnapped him. The repetitions and changes in the tune, when decoded, gives an address. There, we will find the real Elton John, locked up for decades.

Saw this live in Seattle, we sat in the second row and Chris called my brother Jiminy Cricket when Forest told him he was doing great when Chris was interacting with the audience. When Forest yelled "good bit Chris!" Chris looked at the audience and was like "did you hear what this little monster just said to me?!" It was a pure moment. Chris was so chill. This is the end of my yelp review

This song freaked me out so hard as a kid! I just *had* to listen all the way to the end as I gritted my teeth and my neck hairs rose up. DJs probably play it so they can take a nice long dump. I'm convinced some version of Elton is still banging away at his piano and I'm as anxious as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs

i saw rocketman four times since last week, and i have NOT STOPPED THINKING ABOUT the juxtaposition between this stand up bit and the actual scene in the movie. Elton was riding a high during a drug-induced orgy and he was at the lowest point before the rocket man scene, and he was fucking miserable the entire time. watching this after knowing his state of mind...... dude im losing it
