I’ve been using Chung Dha’s seamless transition pack to pull this all off in premiere without after effects but the offset gives that an option of zooming to anywhere in the frame besides the middle thus making this superior, I didn’t even know this was an effect that someone started. Crazy I’ve been using it for so long without even thinking of why it seemed to be all the craze. Amazing tutorial.
@WeirdSide7 жыл бұрын
I use a much simpler method - take the zoomed in clip and resize and reposition it so it matches the zoomed out clip, then parent the zoomed out clip to the zoomed in one. Go to where you want the zoom to start, set the zoomed in clip's opacity to 0, and keyframe the opacity, scale, and position. Then go to where you want the zoom to end, reset the scale, and position, and set the opacity to 100. Turn on easy ease keyframes, and motion blur. Much fewer keyframes, and much less fiddling with keyframe values.

@lelekira78427 жыл бұрын
You just have to take a moment to think and repeat the effect. It's simple!! .-. It's the same thing, the only thing that changes is the position of the camera, like shooting the same clip but in another position, a bit farther, you can even do this effect with a picture. And also when it's about to start you add a little bit of shake and that's it. EASY.

He used 3 clips. the first one with him walking on the bridge, then a shot while walking along a path with the camera, and the last one was a shot of him walking away from a bridge. He used the same zoom effect to 'slide' into the next clip

That's the graph editor what you looking at. The shortcut is shift + f3. It's used to control the acceleration between 2 keyframes. I don't want to confuse you on how to use the graph editor. Rather you can google it or find some tutorial on KZbin. There are loads of them.
@CarsonRobotham4 жыл бұрын
If you see two graphs in the graph editor, you need to derive to get the graph shown in the video. If you look at your Y axis label (left side of the grid area), it probably says "XXXX px" you need "XXXX px/sec". Right click on the number and click "edit speed graph" this should give you the graph shown in this tutorial.

Everything You showed here is done using basic tools, and can be accomplished in Premiere with no need for After Effects. That's important for some ppl. Other than that, it's cool you decided to bring this effect to your channel cause it's a neat little one that can do some magic to an otherwise ordinary footage.
@yuchecktsang7 жыл бұрын
When I drag the ''Offset'' effect into the adjustment layer, the footage will look like ehhh.. 1. Imagine how the footage look like at the very first keyframe. 2. Now cut the footage in 4 rectangles (cut it in the middle on the x-axis and the y-axis). 3. Now take the top left part of that image and put it in the bottom right. 4. Now mirror that image. This is what I get. Anyone who can help me?
@dariordz6887 жыл бұрын
Are you working with CC? I'm cc 2017 and if I get the offset effect down below the rest, it will track the top left corner and slide it until it reaches the center of the comp. If I get the offset on top, it will screw up the motion tiles. So the easy way to do it is just to work with the position keyframes inside the transform effect you already got.
