"Sonor drums are kits. They sound like one." That's what I've always liked about BMW motorcycles and Audi cars. All the systems work in harmony, as one unit. Guess I like the German approach to holistic design. And that's why I play Sonor.

They are not build like the Sonor’s in the 50’s ( very thin with re rings like Teardrop) more like end of 60’s to half 70’s ( 6/7 mm beech without re rings) Find a Swinger, Champion or Performer and you pay 8 x less for same sound. But all in German factory build Sonors sound great!
