one small detail you forgot to mention is when resetting, people started closing and reopening the game instead of just going to the main menu because if you didn't restart the game you'd inadvertently have a new game+ situation

Great video, thanks for preserving this part of San Andreas history. Im always blown away by the level of theory crafting and reverse engineering that players go through to achieve these runs. We’ve come a long way since the start of Gta SA speedruns, very good video to show how far the speedrun community have gotten to lower the time. And a lot have changed after the lockdown for the past 4 years. It made me realize how old I’ve gotten because I remembered when under 5 hours felt impossible before they found out about dupping. I must also say that I hate when you accidentally type in a cheat code by just using the WASD keys while you driving and you see the weather cheat activating. Very good Video English Ben🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
