Panel Beatin is becoming a lost art. It's a ton of fun to learn to secrets and tricks to bring a panel back into shape and make it look like nothing ever happened. It also brings you a lot of satisfaction knowing you literally shaped parts of the car. Great work as usual Benny. I'm really excited to see how this project turns out.

Try a clothing or wallpaper steamer to remove the stripe. I had to remove an old sun damaged wrap on a racecar, and it worked amazingly well. A little adhesive remover will finish it off.

My tradesman as a Boilermaker apprentice had a twin carb GSR that threw a rod so he decided to put a 351 Cleveland in it. With stock exaust manifolds only body modification was to hammer the seam between to firewall and transmission tunnel flat other than that i fitted easy. Haven't seen a sigma on the road in Melbourne for over 15 year's i reckon.

It looks really good, I love the mirrors on the fenders. Chrome on those old cars do add that little thing. It's funny because with the round headlights, the front sharps lines of the body etc, it looks a lot like my e28. Loving the styling touches its coming along nicely. I had a Mark 4 Ford zodiac 1971 executive (UK) and it had guard mirrors, they look cool but are a pain in the arse when you actually needed them as mirrors. Everything so small in them! Had to get rid of the car as it was rotted out underneath, so wished I'd kept it. Merch suggestion, woven keyfobs like the MCM or Skid Factory ones. They're great on usb memory sticks not just car keys.

I love it! :) And I'm not big on sedans. Also never really noticed the body damage from here before, small screen, but looking sharp. :) One thing that might help are these plastic scraper blades I found, just like single edge razors to fit your favorite holder, but non-scratchy by a long way. I've also had some success with a few things by using a plastic spatula for nonstick pans that no one wanted in the kitchen anymore. You can get the cheap ones and reshape or resharpen them all you want, could be handy for things like your pinstripes.

Benny's Custom Works , Cool. Was looking at that as you mentioned it. Would be good to have a few sources to be able to look at. I’ve tried a few of the websites mentioned in MCM’s travels. Would be good to have a list.
