12:36 I worked very closely with TITAN to modernise this lift. I love everything about it. I love the extremely intelligent and efficient logic. I love the Dewhurst buttons. I love the motor too! When we first installed the lift back in 2014 I believe, we originally used a regular white light, but because we kept finding drugs inside of it when we came back to check it hasn’t gone out of service (daily procedure, as this happens a lot) we kept finding needles. At first we thought it was Denis The Drugs Dog who kept going in there, but then we remembered that he is on top of a train. We therefore convinced the shopping centre to pay £179.99 to change a single light bulb (as this is a “big project”). Overall this is the perfect lift! But I am very unhappy that TITAN forgot to put my company on it too.

5:26 2 things. 1: i love the voice because of the way it says doors closing it sounds so happy - 5:58 2: they actually changed the voices on the otis 2000s and 2000 VFs to that voice as well, apart from the ones in house of fraser though, and im surprised they use the doors closing male voice on the kone now put them on otis. But on the lift at 5:26, does it still go 2 m/s? or has the speed changed too?

The underground basement is the best place! It’s got those nice waffle slab ceilings. The Orona worm drive sounds like an electric table saw. Like the ones with the big saw blades on them. It sounds so develish.

beno you should have surfed the modernised otis 2000 lift, was hoping to see if the shaft doors for (LL) and LM were still in tact.

I would have liked to have done. There is a shop on LL and LM, I wonder what it would be like. There were cameras pointing at the lift on every floor. We didn't want to get caught at this point as we wanted to get up the crystal. It would be worth going back there.

​@@benolifts just to let you know i'm from Reading and i know that Next (I work here!) now occupies what used to be the little-used part of the Oracle. I'm assuming the shaft doors are still in tact, but are probably blocked off on the other side. When the store was under construction, i was afraid they were gonna get rid of that lift. Thankfully that wasn't the case when I watched this video.
