If it doesn't work for you, and you still get out of range message after you booted up your device in safe mode there is easy solution for that too. Instead of clicking number 4 on the menu, you click number 3, and that's it.

I git this problem when I got my new PC. And my old manitor had a really weird asoect ratio, something like 1330x800, not sure. And the game I wanted to start was in an other, incompatable aspect ratio. I had to connect my brother's monitor, whitch is 1900x1080, and with it, I choosed the same aspect ratio as my old monitor is, that 1330x800, then plugged my monitor back, then worked. So I think you need an other monitor to make it work in some games If you need help, feel free to ask me! I hope you all the best

@@wanchai1494 facts, that was my problem cause the old monitor hasn't HDMI port and I used to use a converter from VGA to HDMI and guess this was the problem, I bought a Samsung 22" with HDMI port and no more problem

For anyone who is still dealing with the issue, even after going into Safe Mode, deleting drivers from Device Manager, restarting Windows and reinstalling the drivers, or even after going into Low Res mode, maybe this will fix it : you have to go into display settings, male sure you are into duplicate mode, then select your laptop screen as primary display. Your monitor should then pop back open.

While hovering over the restart button hold shift for (windows 10.) While booting continue to hold on shift you'll see the troubleshooting menu pops up. You'll get the troubleshooting menu quicker this way. Thanks your video really helped subbed.

My monitor started and booted into desktop then after a second gave me the out of range message again. I performed a hard restart and then monitor still reads out if range.
