There is a female officer in my area, large estate. She’s got to be only 5’4 pushing 5’5 and I’ve seen her run after someone and being that small she was flying down after the bloke. Like a little sonic the hedgehog 😂

I have a six year old son. Last year we were out having a picnic and these two police went past and into the near by Co-Op (across the road from where we were sitting) they had to pass us to get to and from their car. On their way back my son goes “did you get some doughnuts?!” I was mortified but he was genuinely interested (not being cheeky) and they laughed and were like “noooo just sandwiches!” 😂

Well in fairness, they are committing a breach of the peace and are also potential security risks. Like we saw in Scotland last Monday, that guy who shouted at Prince Andrew needed to be removed because his comments clearly provoked the crowd and that could've turned into a potentially violent situation. Also if the protestors are given a direction to leave, how can officers guarantee they won't come back and potentially turn violent!

This was more of a personal rant, nothing helpful, the football duties video was my favourite. Ben, No one thinks the police are above the law, you did not need to clarify that, what you need to realise is too many of them act like they are! Maybe not in your shift teams or not even in WYP but all over the country, particularly the Met it would seem.

Talking of stupid stuff done as a kid - growing up my local force bought bikes so that they could chase us when we were ripping up the school fields and complaints were called in. As an adult riding a bike legally, I whole heartedly endorse the ramming of a scrote without a helmet - especially if he just nicked my bike! I'd probably offer the officer responsible a pint!

I would say the majority of grown ups these days done stupid things when they were little. I done a few stupid things of which I would not even dream about doing now because I have matured. I never done drugs or raped anyone but just stupid silly stuff like tossing stones at windows and running away, I think it`s called being a little twat.

First of all, I’ll start with I love your videos and what you stand for mental health wise etc. I just have a query about the quota of arrests or tickets. I have recently been given a section 59 which I accepted. The officer then took my driving license to process it on his tablet, then came back and said because I had previous driving offences (due c&a) he was accusing/charging me for driving without due care, which I disagreed with. Don’t think he had any hard evidence. But if I had contested it I would of lost because it was my word against his. Now I’ve seen this question asked and you answered as you did. He just needed an extra mark that month. What’s your thoughts?

Ive only ever been arrested once and it was in Germany, and the police treated me appallingly. I hadnt done what I was accused of, they refused to speak to me in English and tell me what I had actually done. All.I did was act a peacemaker in a fight where locals tried to attqck my friend and the violent German locals ended up getting off scot free despite attackong my friend and throwing a glass beer bottle at me.

I got arrested by two armed police in my hotel room during oktoberfest, I found a phone in the hotel lobby and being drunk English boys on a stag we decided to keep the phone and have some fun with it. They don't mess around like the wet biscuits we got here, passport taken immediately, mates told I was being taken to whatever station was lied to, some bs aboit theft when I had found the phone, 500 euro to get out of the station and then received another 500 euro fine through the post as I bad been sentenced to 20 days in jail at 50 euro per day. Needless to say the other 500 isn't paid Will give Munich a miss forever now haha

I'm not from the police but the way you describe a breakdown is spot on. Months of kind of losing yourself then something in your head just goes. I sat at work (children with learning disabilities) and had a big incident and just couldn't bring myself to respond. Just stood watching. My senior asked if I was OK and I just said no I don't want to live anymore and walked out. No idea where I went or how I got home, I was gone for 4 hours. It's been 4 years now and I'm only just in what I can call recovery. Looking back there were so many signs but until you've been there you can't spot them really.

I worked beside a retired policeman and some of his stories were unreal. Going out on the nightshift with his colleague and driving past the car of someone that pissed him off the day before and spraying underseal paint along the side. 😂 In the end he said he took early retirement when a farmer pulled a shotgun on him.

Going off the section of you need 2 officers to do X, Y or Z. Is it true that if you end up going to court over a traffic ticket, if the officer that issued the ticket was alone and isn't part of the traffic division, you are more likely to have the ticket dismissed? A barrister friend told me that if I ever get pulled over for a traffic violation and they are on their own, always ask if they are a member of the traffic division.
