my go to favourites were the curry yong tau foo from kopitiam and soursop ice blended from moji bakery. the kopitiam used to be foodfare. lived in Sembawang for 26 years

Literally I passed by the station but find nothing much. Occasionally would pop by at the foodcourt there. There is a stall selling Filipino food but don't really appreciate their food.

Not sure why everyone is so keen on the MRT series, but I presume the food in MRT stations tends to cater to convenience-driven customers, not foodies. Many of the viewers' recommendations seem to have cognitive biases, where if these recommenders were to live at the opposite end of Singapore and tried this once, they would be unlikely to return for it.
