3X is a common multiple for sales. Typical business 1/3 labor, 1/3 product, 1/3 other overhead. Which makes hotdogs perfect owner/operator makes 2/3 of money from the sale.

WTF! Went to Home Depot today & was surprised to see a typically run HD cart business selling their HD's for $3.50 each. Just your basic HD. They used to be $3.00 each. The kicker here I thought was the fact that HD was giving away free HD's at their exit door while the other guy was selling his dogs for $3.50

You really need to look at Carolina Packers Hotdogs in Smithfield North Carolina. They are the best selling hot dogs in North Carolina. All the college football teams started two years ago selling them at all football games. It's a red hot dog and the best in the world. They also sell chili and it's also the best in the world.

It's 2021 and a decent dog is .50 and buns are .50 + condiments so I'm at about 1.50 real cost. + what .50 incidentals. So I'm at 2.00 cost. 3x cost is 6.00 lol. Inflation is killing us. 5 bucks is pushing it but it's reality. 7.00 for a dog, drink, and chips. Add a buck for sausage

Currently new vendors are paying about .28¢ each for all beef and 17.8¢ for regular hot dogs. Bulk purchases from pro vendors are getting all beef for as low as 13.2¢ each. Contact your local broadline distributor.

I like what your doing but there is a simpler method to this, you simply divide the cost percentage by 0.35% = "your sale price "example it cost me lets say 5bucks to make the dog with condements and wrapper ect, you would simply punch into your calculator 5÷0.35=$14.28 thats the price you need to sell each dog if you wanted to make proper revenue to generate capital growth
