It is funny that you say "people forget", when it comes to stopping and getting breakfast! LOL I NEVER forget food! I may forget to go to work, but I'm not going to forget my food! :)

Hello Ben, I really appreciate your contents!! I’m from Puerto Rico and for decades vendors sells Burgers and Hot Dogs for Breakfast, haven’t see anybody doing it here in Florida. Probably I’ll be the first one and I’ll be documenting it all. Cuz there’s a story behind. Once again thanks for your great contents!!

Hey Big Ben. NY state will never let me "make" sausage gravy without a commissary. In other words, I don't think I'll get away with throwing raw sausage in the pot, cooking it, at home. It's tough in NY state. But I'm VERY intrigued with breakfast vending. Love the idea! Again, I work without a partner.

I was up along I-5 in Washington State a few months back on the way to Seattle and decided to find someplace to get a decent breakfast. Found a place called Country Cousins. My brother, wife, and I decided that sounded good. Went in and it was a lot like a Cracker Barrel restaurant only not quite as fancy. I decided I wanted some country fried steak for breakfast and the waitress asked me if I wanted that grilled or fried?!?! I was shocked. She said her favorite is grilled so I said I'd take that.. My goodness, when I ate my first bite of that steak, my tongue slapped my mouth because it was SOOO good.. Haven't been able to find any other restaurants that will grill one since then so, I know where I'll be stopping to eat on the way to and from Seattle from now on..

McDonald’s never has used frozen eggs. Scrambled eggs are cooked on a griddle and round eggs are cracked fresh. 🥚 🍳

Thats not true. Taken from the Mickey D's website... "Our folded eggs, like the ones on a Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuit, are made with liquid eggs that are pre-cooked and folded before being flash frozen by our suppliers. Once in our kitchens, they're prepared on the grill with real butter."

Approximately how many biscuits and gravy did you get from one can?
@BensCarts6 жыл бұрын
Some vendors use a 2 oz ladle, but I gave about 3 to 4 oz per biscuit. (probably over kill) I like my biscuits smothered. 2 oz is probably plenty, but I'm always impressed when a restaurant gives more than is needed. Using a standard biscuit of 2" diameter, I served a single or double (2 biscuits). But if all were single biscuit servings - that would be about 50 servings per can. I never got that many. (because I gave more) I was somewhere around 30 single servings per can.
@icecreamladydriver16066 жыл бұрын
Thanks Ben. I am like you in that respect and I will do well to get 30 servings when I do start doing this.
