During the time we broke up I played a concert at my town and I played this song for her, hoping that she would come. She didn't. She never heard me sing it. And ever simce this song is tainted with the feeling I had on that stage, singing for someone who wasn't listening anymore. Gosh that's corny...

I´m about to drive to my female best friend of almost six years to play this song for her. The last two weeks we came each other very close and last night, we cuddled until we kissed. She is very confused about all that and does not know what to think or feel. I´m just plain in love with her. I was in love with her at the beginning of our friendship, and she didn´t return the feelings. But we got through it. And now, here we are. Something special in both heads. Guys, I just want you to know I love this women more than anything else I have. When i´m with her, I see us settle down, get one or two kids and just be at each others side until the end. I´m sure. I love her. I will give my best and play this song to her. Thank you for this wonderful live. I love you all and wish you just the best in your lives. Wish me everything good you can. Please. Exactly a week ago, I lost my dog Cutler. He was this beautiful, beautiful amstaff. One of the big loves of my life. We we're battling a cancer, something that was hurting his lungs so bad. I did all I could. We did. Had to make a donation campaign, you know... To pay all the bills through three different hospitals. It worked like magic! I never had so much people sending donations, sending love and hope. Sharing my letter asking for help. It was a beautiful touching moment. Sadly, even with the best meds I could get, it was his time. He almost died in my arms. We used to walk everyday, in the visit time, on the backyard of the hospital. He was always happy, and the walkings were just good. After the walk, me and Cutler would go back to the resting room (with all other dogs) and lay down on the floor. I'd give him a nice hug, sometimes I prayed with him in my arms, sometimes I just say "hey son, don't worry, you'll be good! This people are taking good care and making sure you'll heal!". Last thursday he got a attack in the walk. Had to take him in my arms and run back to the meds. They took him into oxygen. It was alright again. Than, another attack... Oxygen. Okay for now. Had to leave him, visitation time is up. While I was in the bus back home, got the call. Went home crying all the way. In the bus, at the street, at home. Than sometime this song rose up to me. The lyrics fits like magic. And somehow, it numbs the pain, the poetry donates a bit of hope and sense to my heart, you know? And that's why I thank Snow Patrol for. That's what art is all about.

These are the kind of songsthat make your life so meaningful and Rich no matter how long you have or have short it's going to be I've come a long way in my life from being a songwriter for various musicians such as Jason Mraz and a few other artists that are Christian artists.that was one of my favorite songs that he is overdone simplicity and beautiful lyrics and that's all it is romanticizing just lying there and enjoying each other in the time that God has given us. To anyone here grieving, broken and bleeding inside; The tears on your face might feel like razors right now, I know you have loved and you have lost. But tell me what you feel in your chest, are your lungs filling with air? Is your heart still beating? Now is the time to rise and make the most of whats left, forget the pieces on the floor and leave them there. I love you and you CAN do this ❤️ now is a new chance to find yourself like never before. Breathe friend, pain is temporary and no match for you 🥰

So many people have some kind of relationship, or a loved one to remember while listening to this gem 💎. Love to play it all by myself in the wee wee hours of the morning , when everything is still peaceful ❤.

I just loved it when the singers we used to listen to just take a guitar and 3 chords and make a live music video that looks this dope. Respect 🖖

This is one of my fav songs, always makes me tear up due to its poignant vulnerability in the artist voice. I just love it so much. Finally looked it up to see the actual artist Gary LightBody who wrote and sang it ~so sweet.
