This song makes me think of my son. I lost him a year ago. I just want to bleed to know I'm alive, I can truly relate to that line. The pure joy of this song is it's title Iris, the day after he passed an Iris bloomed in the Garden. A white Iris, blooming in November, in North Dakota. Some signs are better than others, this was one of them. I truly love this song forevermore.

Love this song. The guitar playing... aw!!!! Seductive! Reminds me of my lifetime fling. "Left at the Alter for us!" The lyrics are so perfect for my situation. You never get over it. And songs like this remind you of that pain. The song is so beautiful. I heard it played with an orchestra in a movie and I googled who it was. New to this band but wish I had heard of them in my youth. I would have gone to a concert, and sang all the words! Aloha, from Kauai.
