As a computer guy, _who loves tech_ , I "may" have gone a little overboard! But if you are anything like me, its fun to geek out on the tech gear. 🤓

Your channel has a really high production standard. As I saw your video about the x79 Homelab build. i thought you were some >100k channel 😳. Congrats on 2000 Subs. Please remember this comment when u hit 1 mil 😂

This is one of the most professional setups I ever seen. Better than many shiny but not practical setups of big channels.

With the amount of space you're using and the amount of equipment you use, it really is amazing that you managed to put it all together and still have your main shots look so clean and professional. You must be some kind of brainiac. If sharing is caring, You must care a lot. Thanks for the effort.

Is there any reason you chose to go with speakers instead of studio monitors? Oh and if you still have reverb issues I've found DIY Rockwool panels + bass traps to be extremely useful and cost-effective. I record music so my sources are much louder than the human voice and I need to be more careful of bass-flub and Rockwool works great and is super cheap.
@BensTechLab2 жыл бұрын
Good advice on the rockwool panels! 👍 I should get a few panels in my space. As for the speakers instead of "monitors", I am splitting the difference here for my use cases. I do not record music and I didn't want them to be too large for the space. These AudioEngine speakers are the closest thing to a studio monitor while still being general purpose smaller speaker. 4″ aramid fiber woofers and 0.75″ silk dome tweeters. _They sound fabulous!!_ Oh... and... they came in a nice white finish and I was collecting too many black computer peripherals darkening my room vibe. So the aesthetics also played a role in my choice. 😉

How did you build the curtain stands
@BensTechLab2 жыл бұрын
The background curtains are from IKEA including the track they mount to. The sound blanket stands are probably worthy of their own video if that’s what you were interested in?
