this is how the ensh*tification of the internet begins (as if its not f*cked up already); the AI image thrown in by an intern at the last moment because they wanted to add some zest to the video but couldn't be bothered licensing or finding a good real world image or artwork to acheive it

Exactly, 100k for a blown straight six, hand built coachwork, with hidden modern features where you can (such as disc brakes and coil over suspension - doubt you could find appropriate looking skinny radial tyres), this would have petrolheads with nearly too much money auctioning off a kidney or a child to get their name on the list... but this is just a super rich kid's toy, and you'll *never* see one outside of a screen or magazine.

@@oldchap1228 exactly (at least from my POV), £100k for an electric single seater toy, for something that looks very special, but fails to meet expectations - like putting a fibreglass Ferrari body kit on a MR2

The race is in this month’s magazine. I’d love to have filmed the whole thing but it needs a huge crew to shoot a full race and sadly we didn’t have the time on this occasion. Hopefully this is better than nothing 👍🏻

It wouldn't surprise me if the Bentley Boys were well aware of the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch railway - it was conceived by two racing drivers. I'd say Henry Seagrave would approve of such frivilry

Pretty much the same size as my 1932 Morris Minor Two-Seater but the 847cc side-valve engine produces 19bhp and can propel the little (9ft 8in) car to a max of 53mph (as clocked on GPS). I noticed the 'Bentley' is sitting on the same size Blockley tyres as the little Morris too.

@@RJSRdg yep, Top Gear pre 1999 was informative and covered all types of vehicles but was in comparison, and subjectively, tamed and had none of the flair/madness that the 3 musketeers were known for.

I get excited every time a new video pops up but most often it's about some electric car. I'm starting to lose interest in the new top gear videos. When the bonnet opens and there is no engine it's quite disappointing. However the workmanship on this car is exquisite.
