I don't have trouble with it setting too fast. I think all of the warm shades have too much yellow undertone. I'm going to stick with neutral. I don't know why you are finding it that hard to work with. I haven't tried the Aquaphor but definitely will!! I'm 68 and need it!!!

The TirTir is buildable if you need more coverage. Really sheer layers.
