The USD boys are holding it down. I think they have the best team around right now.

Seeing those first few falls on the hurricane made me wonder, has anyone done a nice long true spin front torque (like, just past true makio)? I swear I've seen Aragon or someone do a solid true front torque to topsoul like a hurricane top soul with a little stop over at front torque, but just the first trick sounds like it would be sick. Surely Jordan Dale or Kelso has done one, right? Or the skater whose name is escaping me that front torqued the whole curved ledge at the West Hills amphitheater in Santee... Also, Eugen seems like a fun guy to have a ledge sesh with, or to skate around a new school looking for interesting stuff to skate.

Actually I did a true torque to topsoul as a warm up for the hurricane one. We will probably upload the archive for that at one point. There are several good true torques out there but usually people keep spinning them and don’t hold it for way to long as it’s quite hard.
@Zebulonandon2 ай бұрын
@@negue9 nice! I love seeing other tricks that don't make the cut and battles. And yeah, that spin is weird, it's the reverse of an outside cab backslide basically, which was always much harder to hold than the 270 backside versions, I remember, I think it was Randy Spizer or Mike Choley in an old VG rail section did a huge/long outside cab backslide and it really stood out. I'm sure someone that's really solid with front torques and true makios could make it happen, and it would be sick. Fastslides and pudslides used to be seen as only a slap trick but that's certainly changed. Also thanks for your great work helping to keep negatives alive. They're closer to my heart haha
