Beogram 4002 and 4004: Replacement of the RPM Indicator Bulbs with LED Assemblies - 2022 Update

Hi quick question. I have a 4002 and a 4004. My 4004 when I play a 45record it's speed fluctuates and sometimes stops. It also goes to the normal 33 spot where it comes down and not to the 45 position. Any help would be great thanks. Love your vids

It probably needs the motor rebuilt. Most have dry bearings these days. The set-down issue is probably an issue with the record detection circuit, which may not be able to detect the platter ribs anymore. One potential reason may be a dead photo sensor in the secondary arm.
