It’s such a delight to see your videos pop into my sub box again 🥰✨ Hopefully when I return (I flew home a month ago to handle some family business), I might pay Beppu a visit over the winter 😁 Love the content as always! Take care (especially now with that typhoon wreaking havoc on Tokyo) and have a good week 😅👋🏼

Welcome back, hope you enjoyed your break. Beppu looks really cool, I've been trying to decide between visiting Beppu or Yufuin on my next trip to Japan.
@TokyoFoodieSarah2 жыл бұрын
Oh tough decision! I’ve been to Yufuin about 4-5 years ago and it was great. Both have easy access from Fukuoka, have a few tourist attractions and have good ryokans & food. In my personal opinion Beppu is more for looking around and Yufuin is more for staying at a ryokan and chilling. The restaurants & shopping street at Yufuin was very cute ☺️

@@TokyoFoodieSarahJust came across your videos as I'm planning to travel to Fukuoka. Really enjoy them and will be hitting all the places and restaurants shown in your video. Do you have any recommendations for Yufuin onsen hotel/ ryokan that doesn't require car rental? I trust your taste!

Went to Beppu and Oita in 2000-one of my most memorable trips to Kyushu. Visited all of the 7 hells I think. Still have a t-shirt that says "Every Day is Hell in Beppu. Check out Monkey Mountain. Every time I watch one of your videos you have me salivating to no end over the food! That's just the way it is in Japan--fantasyland with some of the most amazing food in the world. If you have not been there you must go!

I went on a school trip to Kyushu District a long time ago. Unfortunately, I have not visited it since then. I'm dying of visiting Kurokawa Hot Spring, which is the most popular hot spring resort among women. I hear every Japanese-style inn there serves exquisite Japanese food and we can enjoy fabulous open-air hot springs. Have you been to Kurokawa Onsen?
@TokyoFoodieSarah Жыл бұрын
No unfortunately I’ve never been to Kurokawa Onsen!

Oh Beppu is a city. Well here we use it as Peppu or Beppu and meaning is a bit different. You sit on your peppu aka bottom. Wonder what it means in Japanese if its japanese city.
