To answer questions about what keys do, since the killers can now close the hatch, you can use the key to reopen it if you find it. Also, the generator popped when Pixie was hooked due to a perk. I don’t remember the perk name but if someone is working on a generator and someone gets hooked, that generator pops and shows the killer the location of that generator. The generator will only pop if someone is working on it.

another little tip: on the left side of the screen there are little notches above everyones name, No notches means that they havent been hooked, 1 Notch means that they are in the first hook stage. 2 Notches means they are on the second hook stage and they will die when they get hooked again.

the legion can be a male or female character and the trickstar is the one who throws knives and if vary colorful most the time

It was the legion, there are multiple skins, multiple characters, thats why the legion was a female in this game, i personally stick to the Original Legion character.

If you read into the Legion's lore, you learn that there's four of them. Frank, Joey, Suzie, and Julie. Frank is the main one you start off as, and you can equip skins that turn your character into either Joey, Suzie, or Julie. There's skins for Frank as well. That's why this Legion has longer hair, it's either Suzie or Julie

Glad to see the return of DbD. One of if not my favorite game rn and love watching you play. Random uncalled for facts: The key without addons is really only used to open the hatch as the last survivor if the killer has already closed it. You were indeed playing against the Legion. They are 4 different killers; Susie, Frank, Joey, and Julie but as correctly guessed, it only matters for skins. Also because the way legions power works, it isn't recommended to heal against them because you could spend 32 seconds healing each both another survivor and them you but legion can take that away from everyone in seconds. It's really unintuitive, especially when you don't know killers and perks. Another example of when not to heal was against the Myers recently with Tuft of Hair (infinite t3 [insta down]) so healing did nothing, add on top he was running Coulrophobia to slow down your healing and even though the game doesn't do a great job of telling you what these status effects do, it becomes really easy to waste massive amounts of time. TL;DR Kinda. As such, my primary recommendation is to read the perks, addon and powers at the end of the game so you learn what they do. I see a lot of survivors even at high ranks not knowing what some perks do and I only learned recently this way of the fact boil over increases wiggle progress on drops because it so rarely occurs.

That killer is the leigon, the killer is just playing Susie (One of the members). Usually people play as Frank (The leader) he's default Legion

to answer what keys are for: green keys are useless, any other type of key has a special ability you can use, and purple and pink keys can open the hatch if the killer closes it

The perks urban evasion, boil over self care and others are as good as they used to be, for survivors the perks are basically all exhaustion perks (especially dead hard) borrowed time decisive strike and a few others. The legion is 4 people, frank, julie, joey and susie all with their own skins. For the legion you don't want to heal because it's basically useless with their ability, you want to split up as much as you can because once hit by feral frenzy (aka oomy zoomy) they get killer instinct allowing them to see your heartbeat within a certain range. Just seperate as much as you can and get gens done. The trickster is Mr.Kpop knives with the biggest bat ever.
