The addition of a 1301 to my safe has been the highlight of the year so far! Such a fantastic bit of engineering with just the right amount of sexy - Those crafty Italians sure know how to build a scatter gun!! and with a little help from Magpul and GG&G manufacturing I’ve been able to customize the fit and function to darn close to perfection. Silly US import restrictions make upgrades a necessity. thanks for the tour. always appreciate spending time with out South African mates in arms!! cheers!

Ja I want one. I've got 2 over unders but no semi auto shotgun. A tactical shotgun is always a good addition to the gun safe

@@kristian762 up until Beretta released both 1301 and a300 decked out for tactical/home defense use, send me auto shotguns we’re finicky and fast, or if reliable, like the Benelli M4, prohibitively expensive. it’s a pretty steep hill to climb, to convince the average consumer that $1100 US is a bargain or anything. But with a market saturated with $200 Turkish 12 gauge imports and hundreds of thousands of Remington‘s and Mossberg pump, gun, hand me downs tactical semi auto‘s, will always be a niche item. Assuming that they are readily available in S a a and their regulation not overly burdensome. I have to claim ignorance when it comes to South African gun law.

@miketaylorID1 ja the gun laws in SA aren't too bad, just tedious. You'll only be able to get a semi auto shotgun license under dedicated sports shooting which means you have to acquire dedicated status through an accredited association, and maintain your status each year to keep it. But the private sector has streamlined that process quite a bit, even so my last firearm license application took 3 months to approve, and that's a big step in the right direction. Before that it took 9 months for my pistol application, and going years back I remember my first rifle application took about a year to process. There's actually a good video on TFB TV where a South African goes into quite a bit of detail regarding SA gun laws. Anyways if I decide I need a tactical shotgun then I'm gonna save up and buy something decent, like this beretta, it's pointless with our licensing regulations to buy something cheap to start out with and get something nicer down the line. Just buy once and cry once

Lekker I was wondering if you'd be bringing this shotgun into SA. Seems like a great firearm

How does the red dot align with the front sight? Absolute co-witness or lower 1/3?
@rogerwood522811 ай бұрын
I believe the stock rail is 1/3 co-witness. I run Aridus rail, and it is an absolute co-witness.

Brother from way over there, you got it pretty much all wrong. Here across the sea, in the USA a tactical shotgun is very much a primary weapon. Now get some Federal Flight Control 1325 fps 00 buck and you are set.
