Oh, yeah! And being a duck hunter on the salt water mangroves of Florida, the composite stock is go-to. Lot of guys scoff and only wood and I don't care. It makes it a ruff and tumble gun. So says owner of an AL390. Bag limit? Done. Composite stock. Maybe time to upgrade. And because I'm a lot older and smaller, the 20 sounds really sweet.

I have a AL391 Sporting Clays - although it is about 20 years old - the 391 is so reliable. I have put tens of thousands of rounds through it and I sure this new Beretta semi-auto will be just as good.

The outlander is a good gun but if you like the outlander, you will love the ULTIMA!

Ultima has trigger group issues, at least the early ones. The hammer strut or leg comes off and doesn’t stay on after. I’d wait until they come out with a fix. Both the 12 & 20 have issues

talked my brother in law into an a300 outlander....he almost went with the ultima. now I'm working on my brother, have him hooked on the idea of the ultima. don't think it'll be long before he picks one up

Ok, most manufacturers have taken the hint on opening the loading port, but when will they also take the (940) hint on speed unloading? Nice review of the A300, but how does one manually unload the gun? IMHO every gun review should include demonstrating manually unloading!

To my knowledge, you cannot add a mag tube extension to to the ULTIMA. I was bummed by this too.

Just got mine and when I was putting it together I noticed a nock inside the stock as if someone was loose. I took it apart and there was a piece of cpvc about an inch long split in half with a half-inch hole drilled in the center. Has anyone seen that?

Just got a 12 gauge version took it home cleaned it and it won't cycle. I sent in a service request 4 days ago and all I get is them trying to sell me more stuff.

@@Dol303 I went the entire waterfowl season without it because Beretta customer service is garbage. When I got it back I fired 3 rounds to test and sold it because I didn't trust it.

I just got one of these in 12 guage and it will not cycle a shell. A full disassemble and cleaning did not help. Total waste of money.
