Now 8-2024. You can get the original wrap round grips by " Lok-Grip". For more palm swell feel ❤. I did see one in blue'ish titanium frame, it looked Cool. I by total Luck found one called the Urban Tac Pack all black with threaded barrel and two extended mags +2 holding 15 rds each . Looking forward to getting wrap round grip so it will look and feel like the original M9A1 . Super neat great shooting little M9A1 . In the early 1980's. Beretta made a frame mounted decocker/safety, Taurus still makes that full size Model called PT-92 on original equipment sold to Taurus in a Brazilian plant South America. Beretta re: introduced that Model Now 2024 called the 92 GTS. G=Decocker TS=Twin Sear DA/SA it's the same as this Cheata 80X .

They are made in Italy, and is actually Aluminum alloy frame.

Yea the price is tough. Unfortunately now most firearms are getting up there in price. The only thing that helps with this one it has a quality feel and it's a great shooter but I absolutely agree!

I've seen them for $638 ($658 shipped + $25 FFL), but I really wish the sights were just a little better--they're kinda small and narrow for SD. I'm gonna hold off until they have a decocker only version. I wish they'd cut out a little of the side-to-side bulk in the slide, but maybe that was necessary since it's direct blowback. Imagine how smooth it would be if it were delayed like a 92. I'm one of the weirdos who wants this in 32ACP with a thinner slide (and 15rds). :)

NOTE: we seem to have similar taste in guns--I'm still carrying my CR920P, and I'm shocked at how little recoil it has every time I go to the range and shoot it next to another gun (last week I shot it next to a Hellcat PRO and an APX-A1, and I swear it was as soft or softer than the giant 30oz APX-A1). :)

@@GunInsightsi completely understand, a 32 would be a cool round in the platform. It is more of a niche carry option but it serves a purpose for the old school fan base. And I couldn't agree more, the cr920 and 920p are such a great choice. The shoot like a full size in such a compact package. With excellent irons to boot in my opinion! I also agree with the sights on the Beretta. But to be fair they are very accurate. I would really like a blacked out rear with a tritium front.

Damn that’s nice! Here in NJ we need to purchase and apply for permits for pistols. Permits in my township costs about $25 ea. FFLs averaging from $65 - $75. Most lgs are priced msrp. 🤦‍♂️

I just discovered Allegheny Arms makes a 32ACP barrel for this, as well as slightly thinner grips...so I guess I'll be getting one of these INSTEAD of a CR920X...though I'll grab one of those eventually I think. But this should suppress better in 380 and 32. The problem is, I know it's bigger than a 43X/CR920--almost as big as a 19, but carries fewer rounds of a lesser caliber, and weighs more...so...it will be hard to justify carrying it...but I'm hoping it's not as big as I think just looking at specs. :)

Btw definitely not made in Maryland. As a Marylander I wish, but our laws are so bad it pushed beretta out of the state years ago. I believe they are in Tennessee now?
