Another great review Josh. Taking a “sim pair” followed by two “on report.” Whatever next? Well done. IMO the standard is better looking and better value. It would not look out of place anywhere and if cared for, they look as good as new even decades later.

I’ve just bought a brand new left handed EELL Scroll - had the choice of classic and game scene but I went for the scroll as I preferred the pistol grip and the scroll engraving is beautiful. In my opinion the EELL sporter looks a bit odd, and I’ve always thought why wouldn’t you go down the DT route?

Congratulations on your new gun purchase, the DT route for some people can be to heavy and there for they are unable to shoot it comfortably, also to get the equivalent gun with side plates in a DT you would be looking around £17000 so a EELL Sporter for some people is a more viable route 😊
