I have a DT10EELL and I love the way the breech flares out to meet the action face, but.......it's bloody vicious when your rodding the barrels through when cleaning it, those protruding lumps take the skin off your knuckles as easy as you like so be extra careful.

This goes to show how objective these things are. I mean most top Skeet shooters in the world prefer the DT10 over all others, so to say it is good must be some kind of understatement of the decade. Compared to the 692 I would like some arguments on why it is better, since I'm hearing that the 692 is out selling even the DT11. I know the DT10 crossbolt locking is stronger and there is a detachable trigger group, but it seems that the barrels/patterns on the 692 have a superior forcing cone resulting in better patterns and less recoil.

Biggest reason is 692 is about half the cost of a DT11. Now if we take cost out of the picture. I have 687EELLs. They don't shoot better than my 682 or in some respects than my 686. But they sure look pretty. I also have a DT10 why just because. I admit I do like the Optima bore and felt recoil of my DT10

I have a DT10 EELL, bought new in 2005. Would you recommend having an adjustable comb added to the stock, or using a different method to raise the comb .25 in +/-?

What's the point of the removable trigger, apart from maintenance?

For a competition gun, if anything breaks, it's easier to service or carry an extra of.

Also it is a kind of safety feature if needed.

Dear TGS, there's something about the DT10 that I don't understand. What's the difference between the DT10 trap and the DT10 x-trap? what does the X before the 'trap' mean?

John are there any problems with replacement parts on the DT10?

Not yet, perhaps worth buying the bits, ready for 20 years time. For what they cost, its not a bad idea to keep some in the case

Hi guys, hey I have a dilemma. I have a ruger VT in 243 (heavy as hell) and a beretta under and over just like that (obviously very light so would appear to be the go to option). Circumstances require one to be available at call for possible "home threat" and I have quickly found the "quirks" of both. If I leave the beretta "open", I have noticed that if I raise the weapon beyond horizontal, the shells just fall out - not good considering things might get hectic and shells simply "falling out" is useless. This leaves with me with no option other than to close it and rely on the safety mechanism. The Ruger on the other hand could be upside down or anything and will feed reliably (and of course I can leave the bolt out so am not concerned about accidental discharge - not that this is an issue because the 2 stage safety is very obviously failsafe on second stage).... however, its heavy as hell and slow to "move around". I am not confident that the berettas safety is reliable.... which one would you choose and is the beretta's safety (switch) reliable????? Both have ammo "belts" on the stock so running out of ammo is not an issue. I just don't know if I can trust the Beretta's safety switch (given that it leaves me no option but to "close it"?

In all honesty i have no experience of guns for defence purposes, so cannot comment. What i can say if the Beretta safety switch is reliable. Unless that gun gets dropped from a great height, it will not go off as the trigger is disconnected when the safety is switched on. It will not just go off and a loaded gun on safe is immensely unlikely to just go off for no reason. I would trust it enough, but still be muzzle aware

I love your videos and would ask a favor if you could do a video on the Zoli Z Sport and show how to remove the shell ejectors for cleaning. There are very few videos of Zolis on the web... Thanks..

Ok so we know you can own a 50 bmg rifle in the uk. So as long as it was semi auto could i legally own either a ptr41 or a scar h? These are 7.62/51 or 308.
@tgsoutdoors6 жыл бұрын
Potentially if they had a 600mm barrel and were straight pull not semi auto.

Go to bradleygunsight.com for options, but more importantly, the thread specs. An assortment pack is available from Beretta. I put a very small mid-bead on the front of mine, as is the preferred set up for sporting and fitasc. Large beads don’t work well with 40 yard midi targets. Your eyes will move to the larger object.
