I love following the lineage of gun designs like they're a family tree. Walther made the P38, which evolved into the P1, the P5, then was iterated on by Beretta, becoming the 92FS. I want the whole collection lol

I have one with the mag release button at the bottom of the grip. Awesome, tack driver. Love this pistol.

My either, but apparently it is.

Helicopter gunners we would tape the magazine with duct tape because of how easy it was to bump the mag release with a drop leg.

My only complaint was durability, after several hundred rounds they start to get really loose. I found that the Taurus held up better, especially in the 40 SW with + P loads.

They will run for upwards of 30k+ with proper maintenance, but yes they get a little loose but it doesn’t hurt anything. The Taurus copies are very good!

Only problem I ever had with it was how clunky it was to carry on a drop holster. Weapon functions great if you have half a brain cell, but running with it on your leg was a literal drag. 😅

@@justinwilkinsonmusic6128 for sure! I actually conceal carry mine and in the right holster it’s a dream to carry.

The thing I dont like is the exposed barrel you drop that in the dirt good luck .

Generally they work just fine even after that. I find them to be reliable outside or steel cased ammo.

@@RonGriffith-nr7bf as compared to a 1911 or nice wheel gun, 1903, the classics, sure. Compared to most modern guns it’s solid 8.
