Beretta Px4 Storm Sub Compact. Why I Sold It !!!!

It's not meant to be a long range gun it's for zero-10yards max. And the knife theory is 21feet which is less than 10yards.

I have one in .40 i got for a really good deal. You are right about the trigger. Even in single action it's mushy, and the reset is also really long for a single action. Beautiful gun that's built very well. But harder to shoot than most other options.

I picked up the Px4 subcompact from a gunstore that took it in trade. It sat on the shelf for so long that they were motivated to let it go for $200. I bought it. As big as it is, it takes a bit of mental gynastics to consider it a "sub-compact". But, it still shoots well and makes a great staging gun to place somewhere in the house for emergencies. A true sub-compact is the P365 original version.

I have the full size. The compact and sun-compact were to small in my hands. I think the full size is perfect. It’s my EDC, and the way I carry it, I can barely even tell l have it on the.

Ur sights were off or you just cant shoot a double action. The gun is great and super accurate

@aneilsen i don't have any issues with my other DA. It was my first time with a sub compact, so I'm thinking it was the short sight radius. Thanks for the feedback.

Your sights may have been off. Out of the box my sights were way off, probably 5-6 inches low at 10 yards. I filed the front sight down and now its dead on

If you want to try another bigger one check out Langdon Tactical he is a wizard and does triggers, optics, and other upgrades on the PX4 line. The full size and compact use the rotating barrel as well.

Langdon Tactical also offered a trigger job for the sub-compact PX4, but you had to send them one. They don't do a "Trigger Job in a Bag" for it.

I learned to shoot with revolvers. Triggers aren't a big deal for me. You want a challenge? Fire a Colt Detective Special with gutter sights! But I digress. My eyes aren't worth a damn anymore, so I tossed a laser on it. The subcompact is a close quarter, death grip, point and shoot weapon. I train mostly belly distance, 5 yards, 10 yards, 15 and 25 yrd. You should have trained on silhouette targets and run through 50 9:12 0 plus rounds. PX 4 sub impact is a great gun for what it was designed for, BTW you could have done a trigger job on it yourself.
