That pistol is insane! Hope to have enough money to buy one one day. I’ll have to settle for my 92FS for now, Wilson Combat website does offer a lot of parts to upgrade though. I’m definitely gonna buy the steel fluted guide rod ($19.99) and the steel trigger for now. I also love the D spring and G conversation de-cocker only. Thank you Wilson Combat for making it possible for an everyday guy experience a competition type handgun. I feel like a kid filling out a list for Santa! 🤦♂️

I am the proud owner of one of these, and it has to be one of the finest weapons I have ever owned and used. Not only is it the best looking pistol, after Wilson Combat gets done with it, it is the tightest yet smoothest. The trigger is just crazy nice. I would make it my everyday carry, but it is heavy as a full size pistol. However, if $h!t hits the fan, this is my go to side arm.

Man Justin your bench top camera has some really good macro-vision! Probably to goos. Lol! I can see all the little imperfections in the machining. I was handling one today at a local gun store. I liked it from a ergonomic feel at the counter. The one that, I saw was going for $1100.00 at first, I scoffed then, I thought about how one can spend a lot more than that on a 1911 that may not be anywhere as good in quality. I love the 92fs and Wilson them together is a dream come true. Actually, 1200 isn't a bad price for a Wilson. Do they build these with as much attention to detail as thier normal guns or is it more of a mass production type?
@1911bg5 жыл бұрын
Wilson does not build them. They do not do anything to them unless you get the trigger job.
@1014p5 жыл бұрын
Basically off the shelf parts. Trigger might be a custom job though. It’s slightly over priced and to my knowledge no 80% jigs for 92fs. I’d definitely get into doing custom 92fs. Marginally over priced I would say due to off the shelf factor.

Any idea why no one's put a RDO on a 92G Brig-Tac? Ernest Langdon in a video he made said they won't put a RDO cut on a Brig-Tac slide because the rear of the slide is higher? Is tghere no way to work around that? i.e. reprogramming the CNC machine?? The Brig-Tac is a beefier slide...I'd assume that would make it more easy to machine.... If you don't own a 92G and want one with a RDO cut...why not a Brig-Tac slide 92G I figure? Wilson didnt offer t heir Brig-Tac 92G with an RDO cut. If they could I'd think they would have.

Justin Opinion, you say all steel but isn't the frame alloy though? What is the point of the beefed up slide? Does it mean you can use hotter + P ammo?

Its because the standard frame on a 92g slide would crack after a few thousand rounds. So by adding more metal making it a thicker slide in the right spot, they have solved that problem.
