I’ve got one of these with the optional Wilson Combat action tuning performed and the chrome silicon springs. It is an excellent pistol. I’ve owned a lot of handguns over the years, and carried an issued one for two decades as an LEO. This is the one I choose to carry in retirement, and it sits on my nightstand with a weapon light when I go to sleep. If you decide to buy one, and plan to carry it IWB, I highly recommend the custom made Palmetto Leather Works holster sold directly through Wilson Combat. It is a very high quality piece of leather for a very high quality piece of steel (and aluminum). Great combo. Don’t leave home without it.

Carried a 92FS in the military and when I first got into Law Enforcement. I've carried a Glock 22 and an M&P. Went to a Centurion when they released. It by far is my all time favorite.

Just when you thought the Beretta 92 Series couldn’t get better, Wilson Combat creates the apex of its development. It performs on par with any Sig legion pistol boys & girls.
@799436 жыл бұрын
I have a 92G Centurion that I purchased a number of years ago used. I believe Beretta only made this model for a few years until this reboot with Wilson. It is a super nice pistol, I am not surprised Wilson chose this model for them to tweak with their enhancements. It is hard to find one of these prior to the Wilson program. There must not have been very many made of the Model G in Centurion form.

Damn! A very very nice gun. Would love to have several. A little too big to carry on a regular basis but would be great for home defense or range. Thanks for sharing.

I was really wanting a compact carry but they're tough to find at a reasonable price so this is the next best option. Interesting to note that the guide rod isn't fluted compared to the other Wilson offerings. I hadn't noticed that prior to review so thanks for that. I think if I was to make any changes to this pistol it would be the addition of the single side, low profile, decocker.
@NorthwoodsNomad3 жыл бұрын
Great review ! You thoroughly covered all of the key features and pointed out some interesting things like this guide rod not having the fluting like the Brigadier model . Since it’s a few ounces lighter than the Brigadier, maybe this was to retain a little bit of weight and help assist with muzzle jump ?

Just purchased this Centurion it came with the action-trigger package from W.C . Guys the sleeve that the gun box comes in there is a Wilson Combat sticker on it showing it, or you can call W.C with the gun’s serial number and they will tell you. Anyway the feel of the grip is awesome and it shoots like a sweet dream . My friend has the Beretta M9A3 I have shoot it many times and I was very close to buying it but I’m so glad I went with the Centurion definitely no regrets over it.

Was in the market for a 1K to 1.5k pistol, and rifle gear had the wilson combat 92g brig , the centurion, p226 legion and the cz shadow 2 in and I was able to spend about 30mins playing with all of them and really liked all of them but I went with the cz shadow 2, just because it still had more potential in my opinion, its stock from the factory and still has custom work from cz custom( accua busting and have their gunsmiths do a trigger job and work the action.) But with that being said I was impressed with the wilson combat brig so much, that comes tax return time it will be going into my collection.
@82luft496 жыл бұрын

I just took my new WC Centurion to the range yesterday and shot 200 rounds thru it. 150 rounds of Freedom Munitions and 50 rounds of Perfecta. It was 100% reliable using the Beretta mags and Mecgar mags in 18 and 20 round mag capacity. The only gripe I have on mine is that the slide to frame finish is a little bit loose. I have a regular 92A1 and that has a tighter slide to frame fit.
@Bajaheat7 жыл бұрын
alcanhg really? I would have thought that the Wilson would have been tighter
@alcanhg6 жыл бұрын
Really! I actually had to send it back to Wilson and they said they replaced the slide. It came back with a slightly less play, but my regular, $600 cheaper 92A1 is still tighter.
@Bajaheat6 жыл бұрын
alcanhg you have me worried, my Wilson should be at my ffl tomorrow, I hope I’m not disappointed with it

Fabulous handgun. The quality jumps out at you. Obviously, you are a skilled handgunner. This piece makes your shooting look easy. What would be the potential of a comparison among this firearm and the Sig Legion Da/Sa & the CZ Shadow2. I have all but decided on the Sig Legion but these competitors are making that decision difficult. Not to mention the young shooters in my influence are in conversation with me. They too are looking at these offerings over the poly-striker guns. Beretta has come back into view the past few years. That is a good thing.
@JustinOpinionChannel6 жыл бұрын
I recently did a comparison video between the CZ Shadow 2 and the WC/Beretta 92G Brigadier Tactical. This would be very similar in that comparison. The only SIG Legion I have in 9mm is SAO so the comparison wouldn't be apples to apples. I prefer SIG's design generally, but this pistol is extremely nice and as you noted - very easy to shoot well.

@MegaScorpio436 жыл бұрын
I know what you mean WarHammer....I own a lot of Beretta's and they are already good to go. The Wilson combat is actually made by Beretta and sent to Wilson where all they do is some of the internals like springs and trigger jobs.

Another great review. I keep hearing rumors that Wilsons next Beretta offering will be an INOX version. That would take care of my only complaint with these pistols. The Bruniton finish does not wear well after numerous holsterings.

Bought the M9a3 and the Wilson centurion and opted for the action tune. I will say I am disappointed in the Wilson, not in its performance or quality but in the price. I paid 500 less for my M9a3 and minus the grips and sights I can’t tell a single difference, even on the trigger pull gauge they are nearly identical so I’m not sure what the $110 action job really did that the M9a3 doesn’t have. Overall both are great guns and I love them, but if I could do it over again I would have gotten two M9a3s and modified one to my liking
@tuzbubey6 жыл бұрын
I am stuck between Wilson Beretta and M9A3. I liked your comment and that made me wonder what to choose. I held both in my hands at store but never shot one. So hard to pick one over the other. How is accuracy between them? I am leaning more to M9A3 and for extra saved money get 9mm suppressor. But Wilson is attractive by Name. What would you recommend?

I ordered mine today with the action tune using the Chrome Silicon springs. The Wilson Combat site states: "Note: If we do an Action Tune with Chrome Silicon springs, we have to re-stake the extractor pin and these marks are unavoidable." Did you get the Chrome Silicon spring option in your action tune and if so, does the "mark" they refer to appear in this video?
@JustinOpinionChannel6 жыл бұрын
I don't think there is an extreme closeup of those stake marks, but if you go to about 19:50 and pause it you can make them out. Top of each slide between the rear sight and the ejection port.

The only thing missing from this otherwise incredible piece is a FRAME MOUNTED DECOCKER! Why can't Beretta figure out that a "slick slide" is more unobtrusive than this ridiculous carryover from their other 92 models? Is it really that difficult to modify this frame for a decocker and leave the slide clean!
