@@BERETTA9mmUSA Cherry picking isn't the same as bait and switch. The manufacturer (or distributor) can test fire the one by putting a couple hundred rounds through it, then clean it well before sending it off, assuming there aren't any jams. I don't know if that happens. I'm just mentioning the possibility. A gun magazine I get doesn't accept advertising but it strikes me as suspicious by how high they rank some or many Taurus' pistols and revolvers, and Kimber 1911s.

I have loved this channel forever. Especially for all the 1911 reviews. I got my hands on a Tisas D10 10mm recently you guys should pick one up for test it's very impressive especially for the $. I think they easily rival Springfield in manufacturing

I got a D10 that had great fit/finish but it had non-stop horrible malfunctions. The bevel on the underside of the slide was cut at the wrong angle and was crunching the brass and jamming it up. They sent me a replacement gun that has awful fit and finish, but at least it functions. I think the D10s are wildly inconsistent.

@@NightwoodGuns update I've put 275rds through my d10 as of 10/6/22 a mix of federal American eagle, federal fusion and some freedom munitions 10mm which was rather weak. I have yet to have a failure with stock mags or the 3 chip McCormick mags. Unfortunate for your first one my seems to be a winner

Ordered one second hand this past Monday. Got it for a steal of a price...$950.00! I wanted a beautiful, solid base gun that I could pump a 4 to $500.00 into and make something fantastic! First thing to go will be the stock trigger with Wilson Combat parts.

The Std Mfg 1911 arrived, I've got 150 rounds through her so far. Got to say I'm impressed. Had mentioned earlier that I planned to swap out the trigger. As it turns out, it's a great trigger & there's no need for a replacement. I'm guesstimating that it cracks right around 3lbs. It's a very smooth and crisp trigger.

Thanks for another great 1911 video and very good shooting. Remington has always been solid. As a kid I used thunderbolts in my 22 and sluggers the 20 gauge. I’m currently carrying the golden saber in my garrison. I bought a different brand in the “white box” a few months ago for 9mm target shooting. I got what I paid for in bad rounds.

A great looking 1911 and dang it shoots well , and you know if we are paying a premium for quality+ and we buy a pistol like this to find a copy of quality at a much better price it starts to get a guy scratching his head a bit. How would you rate this against the Magnum Research/Bul 1911s? Since they are pricer than the Bul manufactured pistols but less than Dan Wessons.. is this a better bang for the buck?

Yes it is the Bang For The Buck USA Made 1911 these days. Great Quality and $500 to $700 less then a Dan Wesson. I still Own this 1911 & I Sold all my Magnum Research 1911’s years ago. They are still OK for a basic 1911, or a “Starter 1911”, but they are no Standard Manufacturing 1911 if you know what I mean. Hope that helps. B9USA Sr.

Hows the side to side up and down slide to frame, I just bought a wilson acp which retails for 2725 I paid 2132 LE price, not as tight slide to frame as my TRP (dollar for dollar best 1911 and they hold value and than some especially when not available on Gunbroker since discontinued, never lost money on TRP mostly made money over 20 years, thinking about this don’t have a bling 1911 slide to frame looks about like Wilson acp not as tight as trp but way better than colt lmao

Series 80 ? If so that could explain the issue with the trigger, the lever and plunger assembly might use some polishing to smooth out the travel.
