The sound of that bolt when reloading is mesmerising. I would buy it for that alone.

Very nice video of the Bergara Crest Carbon. I was quite impressed as well, i liked testing it. The only downside for me is the carbon barrel. It is quite difficult to estimate its temperature, because after some strings the groups will open up really fast and wide.

Well done, seems a very accurate rifle. I like the way you conduct reviews but wish you would shows more of your hunts.

Will do, I stalk a lot but filming and stalking is quite hard on your own.

Just tested some Norma Ecostrikes myself this week in my Mauser M12. You could drive a bus through the group. The Hornady ECX (at £80 a box) it loved…

I know, its very variable as I said on the video but I too love the ECX, they have been the most consistent lead free i have tested

Will do, its quite tricky as I stalk alone mostly and trying to capture the stalk is hard work without spooking the deer, but I will try.

Enjoying the videos . I just invested in a mauser m18 in 308 . You were complementing the Steiner scope just wondering what your thoughts are on the ranger 4 versus the zeiss v4 . Ihave a leupold 33-9x50 at the moment would you recommend one over the other if I was to upgrade

I have both, I love the Zeiss V4 because its superb on my airguns, rimfires and varmint guns but the Steiner's seem to have a better low light ability.

Thanks for that I appreciate it. I think I'll go to the steiner on that recommendation

Hey mate, I've just bought a brand new Carbon quest and noticed it has small pitting marks (tiny holes, and quite a substantial number of them) all over the stock. Have you noticed anything on yours? I've been told by the importers that they all have it. However after speaking to Sako and Blaser, they don't seem to have this issue with their carbon stocks . Was wondering if I'm just being fobbed off or is it just a inferior moulding /bonding technique that Bergara has? I'd expect alot better quality after pay so much for the rifle

Wait. You didn't let it cool? That carbon barrel was cooking and still performed very well. That's what should be noted over everything.
