Bergara’s B14R .22 LR trainer set-up and first impressions

I had the B-14R carbon during Covid. Shot about 8k rounds thru it paired with a Athelon MIDAS TAC HD 5-25×56 . It was phenomenally accurate, heavy and I agree about the bolt action comment. The ammo you use is critical to getting consistent results. Eley and SK subsonic was my go to. I sold it to go on to other shooting pursuits. But, sometimes I miss shooting nickels at 100 yards.

I just ordered this gun yesterday, won’t be here for about two weeks but I’m excited to get it set up. I have a Bergara BMR Carbon and it shoots unbelievable with Norma tac22. Very fun gun to shoot. Hoping this B14r shoots at least as well. Great video by the way. Thanks !

As it turns out mine loves it as well, very happy that it does because I have about 2000 rounds of the Tac-22. 1/2” groups at 50 yards is normal, got lots of groups smaller . ( some groups larger lol )

Because of what you are saying that is why I did not buy Begara B-14, instead, I purchased TIKKA T1X. I waited for about two years to locate an FFL dealer who found one my cost was $632.00.

Yes, I was very nervous buying one myself for that very reason. but so far I am very happy with this rifle. I have just under 2000 rounds since getting it about four weeks ago. How do you like your Tikka? I only hear good things about those rifles. They look very smooth.
