Thanks for the video. I have 2 CZ rifles and Standard Plus, Pistol Match and Rifle match. Ammo is hard to get. I enjoy switching rifles and ammo types for now. Always fun to see how they shoot today. I always shoot at 100 yds for testing accuracy. Have some steel spinner targets from Atlas Target Works also. Very well engineered and quality. 22's are a fun game.

It takes a lot of time but you can see on paper the effect of first weight sorting, and then sorting those batches by rim thickness. With a good barrel (Bartlein) and a few boxes of the SK Match I can actually see the slight point of impact shifts of the groups. You also end up with a few which are way out of measure with the rest of them - I'm willing to bet those would account for most of the flyers you had. Just one observation, those scope lens covers act as a mini sun shade and restrict light coming into the scope... I take those off when shooting bench. Thanks for the video!

Great observation I want to give this a try for sure to see is I notice a difference with impacts and weight and rim thickness

Excellent work again 👍 I just wish the SK LONG RANGE was available in Australia again 🥺 I would love to see 3 different brands grouped through a standard barrel, then a barrel tuner tweaked in on one brand then note the same brands again with the same tuner setting.

Seeing these videos prompted me to order Bergara BMR in both, steel and carbon fiber barrels. I also ordered some Sellior and Ballot Canadian Match ammo to start destroying some paper targets at 50 yards. To go a 100 yards is above my skill level. I would love to see this S&B Can.match ammo (white box with Canadian maple flag) tried out by Ryan on all three rifles and see which rifle would be the top winner at 50 yards or farther if they shoot well. Apparently they dramatically improved the manufacturing of this ammo and invested into brand new equipment which now produces close to zero deviations in bullet weights, case diameters, powder charges etc. Many have reported amazing results with this ammo, and it's one of the cheapest ammo out there.

Great video! I myself as well feel my heart pumping hard and it does throws the impacts off. So far can’t find SK Long Range Match anywhere, get as much as you can! 💯 yards is a totally different ball of wax, have had match ammo come apart in some of my rifles at that distance. Indeed my Bergara BMR has become my favorite and is still OEM👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽.

Thanks for the excellent comparison. I have the same B14r as you and my personal results mirror yours. Mine likes the SK Long Range Match the best by far. Lapua Long Range followed closely by Lapua Center-X were between it and the SK Rifle Match in terms of 100 and 200-yard 5- round group sizes. Now, if I could just find some more SK Long Range Match:)

Good that I bought a bigger lot of the SKLR. 😎 Have you ever tried copper plated like for example the Federal High Velocity? Maybe worth a try?! 😇 But you need to clean the bore before trying it and after if you then want back to standard led. 😉

You should try SK biathlon. Works great out of my B14R but nothing like center x. It's match made in heaven. On another note iv noticed this and it's a topic of intrest to me that I'm investigating. When doing ammo tests with 3 or 4 different ammo lots/brands. The first group of the new lot is always the best/tightest. Then when the mixture of lubs gets displaced the groups open up again... does this indicate a loose bore and the different lubs seals better ? Or are we better of mixing lubs all the time ? Maybe adding extra lub would have the same effect. Food for thought

So now that you've had the Bergara and Tikka for a bit. How would you rank your 1st 2nd 3rd favorites between Bergara, CZ and Tikka.
@BROTUNED15 күн бұрын
Ease of shooting a great group it’s bergara then cz tikka are tied. Smoothness of the bolt is cz then tikka then bergara. But if I had to pick one I think it would be the b14r for many reasons but the main would be easy to modify with the most available options

Another great video! If I may comment, please do the same ammo “set” (and try to use same lots per type if possible) at 200 yards and show comparison summary at end between the 100 and 200. With your Garmin data, it shows that SK LRM was just at supersonic and the STD+ and RM were subsonic (just making reference here). Another comment is if you can add the environmental data (Temp, Wind, %RH) to your summary (best to write on targets as record) as these may be relevant as some point. A third comment or idea, I wonder how many rounds you have through your Bergara since last cleaning? You may want to do a comparison video between a very “well seasoned” shooting session (hopefully really dirty/fouled with carbon ring present) and compared to a through cleaning and remove carbon ring shooting session to see how groups change. Would need to set aside a few boxes of ammo sets with same lots per type (to try and minimize lot variance) and see after cleaning, how many rounds to season your barrel for best/sustained groups for each ammo type (Std+, RM, LRM). If you really want to get fancy…dirty vs clean vs clean and seasoned (first) cold bore shots for each ammo type (and at vs distance). All these tests help create great DOPE info for your rifle + ammo pairing. Lather - Rise - Repeat for each rifle as a series.
