Bergen Norway: Skip the hop-on and do this instead

If you're cruising through the North Atlantic, Bergen Norway may be one of your stops. Definitely get off the ship and have a look around! Head up towards the mountain for a ride on the Fløibanen funicular, a cable car that takes you to the summit. Swing by the fish market to pick your own king crab legs and have the chefs prepare them while you wait. Bergen is a beautiful city, and a paid excursion really isn't necessary here. Enjoy!

It's called mount Fløyen. (not Frankenstein) and your friend here missed out on the restaurant part of the fish market which is inside a building just off the side of it. The outside market is very old and mostly for tourists nowadays, so if you're into seafood or cheeses or any kind of food, make sure to visit that. Can also recommend the meatballs at Pingvinen restaurant or the Bergen Fish soup at Søstrene Hagelin. Hope you'll enjoy, greetings from Bergen.
