This is really fantastic. I remember when I was a student like in this age, from a small town school in Sri Lanka, the best days were when you stare the forest and the small pond behind our school, a gray fox shows up, rabbits jump out of the bushes, and various types of birds fly passing our heads. I hope these kids too get a chance like these through these initiative.

Love it! I live in London, and we started to do the same here - at schools and any other land we can get our hands on ... which is not easy. It's so great to see that these Miyawaki forests are starting to get planted around the globe. Lots of love and thanks for the good work you do, Claudia

I'd like to get the ball rolling on something like this down south. Anyone else know about any schools, churches, temples, city parks, regional parks, etc. that are doing this in Chula Vista, California or San Diego county, in general? Or does anyone have any contact with those types of leaders that would have the land to do this?
