What does he mean by playing 5 7? The V to a viio chord?

Hi, I just happened to be looking through these comments and saw your question. The closed caption shows 5-7, but it really should be V7. The V represents the 5th degree of the major scale. and the 7 is the b7 that creates the dominant 7 chord. So, in the key of C, the V7 would be G7. Hope that helps. JB

Maybe it’s jazz thing. But guitar instructionals taught on guitars without fretboard markers (dots) make it HARD to follow. You depend on your ears. Which is good
