Berkley Chigger Craw is a bait that I use on a regular basis and it works! I wanted to make a quick video about this bait and share with you some of the ways that I like to rig this soft plastic. It is a great bait to use on a shakey head and if you get around rocks certainly put it on a football head as well. I know in this video we talked about the 3 inch and it makes a great shakey head bait and a wonderful trailer on swimjigs and chatterbaits but don't forget about the 4 inch Chigger as well. I flip the 4 inch Chigger a lot and it is one of my favorite punch baits out there.

Who is SmallmouthCrush?
Travis Manson was born and raised where the giant Smallmouth Bass of the north live...WISCONSIN. I’ve used green pumpkin a lot. Someone gifted me a Bass Pro Shops gift card and I used it for 4 packs of watermelon candy chigger craws. Can’t wait till they get here. I didn’t know I was getting a gift card and had just ordered some from Amazon. So I’m going to have like 6 packs of watermelon candy and 4 green pumpkin. So lol alot of chigger craws will be fished soon. Using a green pumpkin and the bite has been slow lately. I haven’t been motivated to take the boat out by myself, so I’ve just been dock fishing past few days. Hopefully my buddy will come hang out and then I’ll definitely take out the boat.

Hey, Travis. I have come to the conclusion that soft plastic lures like the Chigger Craw work so well because their soft bodies and texture seem more natural so the fish holds it longer. Does that make sense?

I have been doing the FG knots and never had a break off, u can find the modified FG knots on KZbin until u get used to tieing the original FG.
