I seen some neg comments, and I agree it seems a little bulky and heavy and will never replace the standard worm drive. That being said, there’s at least a dozen applications I can think of where this saw would have saved me some frustration and time especially building timber frame structures. For $500 and the warranty it comes with, even if I only used it a few times, nothing beats the right tool at the right time

Notice in the video the saw is mounted to a frame, that's because this saw is so heavy that you need a steel stand for it. Forget about overhead cuts, and if you're in canada or outside of the US forget about the warrantee, the stores won't take them back.

Almost perfect if I could use regular blades on it as well that would make it perfect.. I'll buy this saw as soon as I can afford to.

works for one side but not the other and the standard blade is too big for my use in ripping out floors I also need a step down transformer to get it to work at $500 unit makes it unaffordable

I find it to be awkward.....the guard has to be removed for a bevel cut, I will use it for specific things and it is a great concept, but it needs to be looked at by some German engineers

ALL the reviews I read say its very hard to do a straight cut in an ordinary 2 x 4.This is way too expensive for a normal contractor .This saw will not do well .
