But my heart was pounding, I was both fearful of him and joyous at leaving his abusive ass. The train was racing through tunnels, across bridges and I had a car to myself. I was at a Berlin comcert in 1991 and Terri Nunn came down off the stage, started walking thru the crowd and walked up to me while she was in the middle of "Take My Breath Away". She stayed there and sung the rest of the song to my face!! Spotlight light was on us. An experience I'll never forget. Killer night all the way around.

I got a chance to meet/talk to Berlin and Ms. Terri Nunn when they played a local club here in 1996--they were AWESOME! I think their song, "Like Flames" should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame...it's even more appropriate today than it was in the 1980's.
