I heard McChrystal's is picking up production of many Bernard snuffs.

wonder how they will turn out thou. a pure English snuff maker is gonna make the pure german schmalzler snuff? id bet it will take some time before we have anything close to real bernard. hope the guys from bernard spend alot of time in England setting up production

​@puro52 well they spent time in Germany with Bernard's learning there production methods and have their recipes. They only can produce products that Bernard's approves. It should be identical. Question in which products will they keep. Live mcchrystals and that someone their size at least is trying. Nvr got to try Bernard's myself

Have no doubts, after corresponding with them, that they'll make a product that is absolutely the same (or as close to the same as is humanly possible, but I'm sure the Bernard's boys wouldn't let them sell anything without their final seal of approval. Pride and all that.

could it be more akin to the viking brand menthols those have the strong base flower coming through the menthol, but with a sweet tobacco flavor? i only ask because i wont have the original benards to try so im just learning what was. keep up the reviwews i enjoy them and ll the posts on the redit as well.

Nah, Jubilaums is way less rich than Viking in the tobacco base, and just hits less hard in general.

How long have you been using nasal snuff

For roughly four years now, I'd say; couple jobs and girlfriends back, at least. I remember my first snuff was Silver Dollar spearmint, some OLD ass can bought at deep discount from my local tobacconist (and it's a good tobacconist, they just didn't have a market for snuff so they let it dry out in some cabinet somewhere.)
