Part of the reason for Tomic's career prize money not being double what it is or more is also due to how prize money is distributed in professional tennis. A 250th ranked tennis player is basically a nobody, even among fervent tennis fans, but a 250th "ranked" NBA, NHL, or MLB player can still earn anywhere from $5M to $10M per year.

That match (May 27th) makes it his 6th retirement from a match this year.

Didn't understand. Why didn't the gf tell him she tested COVID positive before the match..she had 2 weeks to tell him? What did she fight with the guy about? Why did the guy stop playing in the middle of the match? If he wasn't feeling well, why did he even start playing?
