Not Holland (western rim of the country), but in the Netherlands, yes, although not that much.Mostly in the east of the country.

One of the theories of where the name "Holland" comes from is from the Germanic "Holt Lant" literally meaning wood land. So yes there are woods in The Netherlands. Contrary to what Bom Cabedal said, even in the province of Holland there are woods. Though they are quite small (the largest is the National Park of Zuid-Kennemerland, a forest on the dunes and in the south shared with the province of Brabant is the beautiful Bieschbosch) and some, like the "Amsterdamse bos" largely man made.

@@nikanorsoter7123 there are forests also, with the mountains in the middle of the country ( Thuringen, Hessen, Eiffel/West next Belgien, Nord Bayern and so on ).

We can find woods in Netherlands, next Arnhem in east or the country ; with the Hogeweluwe (or Highweluwe).

The Dutch can be proud of this music. The Dutch know their famous painters better unfortunately. I think they recognize too little of their own folklore in this music.
