I’m a massive Assna hater, but what they did yesterday was a defensive MASTERCLASS. Yes the ref may or may not have influenced the game, but they completely made life impossible for City with 10 men. I have to be honest, I can’t stand the guy but my respect for Arteta has gone up after this game. It’s all about adapting in game both from a manager & as a team, no matter what the “DNA” of a club is and Arsenal adapted perfectly. They proved they can play many different styles and in difficult situations as well. They’re close to winning the league. They desperately need a tall plan B striker though.

TBF, We looked like trash in the 2nd half and I have no idea WTF Pep was thinking still opting for slow methodical buildup play when Arsenal were playing 10 behind the ball (and they had every right to). Shouldn't Pep get some hard questions like why did he wait so long to put Foden on? Or why was he allowing our CBs and FBs to be dictating play just outside Arsenal's 18yrd box? Why were we no going to the byline and driving in at the defense taking shots and hoping for a deflection? The 2x we did it 9Savinho and Grealish) we got a decent chance on goal and then scored with deflected goal that fell to Stones. Love Pep, but he def got things wrong. As for Haaland, he is my baller! Absolutely love Haaland dunked on S&G for his PL record breaking 100th goal and his bouncing the ball off Gabriel's head was the icing on the cake. Toxic rivalry loading...

Havertz dropping Rodri from minute one set the tone that we didn't care that we were in City's house. The second goal our players went to Ederson and crowded him giving Gabriel a free header. We were also dirty at times and very aggresive.
